Who ever said you couldn't take full advantage of the outdoors during winter? There's nothing more rewarding than tying up your boots, throwing on your toque, and trekking off into the snowy wilderness of Seymour Mountain. Along the Dog Mountain Trail, you'll pass a lot of friendly faces on the trail, enjoy snacks with the ravens and the whiskey jacks, and catch a great view at the top! Er -- sometimes... |
Unfortunately, we don't seem to have great luck with the whole view thing, and have decided to rename the Dog Mountain hike to "Fog Mountain" in order to reflect our experiences. But, like they say: the journey is the destination! Plus, we often offer a cup of hot chocolate at the top, which is almost as neat :) If you've joined Trex in the hopes of challenging yourself, trying new things, and improving your outdoor skills, winter hiking and camping are fantastic opportunities to do so. We hope to offer more snow-based activities in the new year, so keep an eye on your e-mails! If you're interested in any specific event, as usual, suggest it to us at 2ndwcatrex[at]gmail[dot]com. | View from Dog (Fog) Mountain |
